Girls Allowed

In this year’s Sydenham Arts Festival ‘Summer & Sydenham’ we are providing a platform for women who want to challenge stereotypes of race, faith, age and gender. The festival will feature a great line up of women, some of whom are known for their sometimes controversial but always exciting take on life in post Brexit Britain. Now you have a chance to join the debate. We are looking for poems in any style, up to a maximum of forty lines under the theme Girls Allowed! – which should give you plenty of scope.

Poetry competition in partnership with Alarms & Excursions for lovers of poetry and spoken word in Sydenham and surrounding boroughs.
