A bit about the choirs ….

Sydenham Singers (Choir Leader, Janna Goodwille); In its 6th year, lead by Janna Goodwille is a community choir running fun, inclusive weekly rehearsals. We sing music from around the world including Folk, Pop, Gospel, Pop, African and more.

Crystal Palace Transition Town Choir (Choir Leader, Katie Rose); Fun, friendly singing to celebrate people and planet in a warm welcoming atmosphere.  Fly Around the World on Wings of Song.  We sing songs from around the world with people from around the world.  A capella songs of many flavours; folk, world, pop – all taught by ear.

Heart of the City Choir (Katie Rose, Guest Lead.  Founder: Naamah Pinkerfield Gal-Or); Now resident in the beautiful ambience of St Botolph’s this choir has a rich history of celebrating the spirit and beauty of song from world traditions.  Located right in the Heart of the City, minutes from Liverpool Street station, the choir offers an oasis of joyful, enlivening singing after a hard day’s work.

Brockley Voices (Phoebe Osborne); A vibrant community choir, made of seasoned choristers and once shy shower-hummers. We perform a cappella and sing music we love, from sea shanties, songs from around the world and jazz, to contemporary arrangements in beautiful harmonies.

Vocal Chords (Creative Director, Melanie Harrold); This eclectic group of singers have been together four years.  They sing four and five part harmonies across a spread of musical genres with jubilance and passion.  Regular participants of The South Bank Chorus and Brockley Max Festival while presenting themed concerts each year.
