Paper Mosaiks (after the work of Mary Delany)

Overview

The workshop will start with an introduction to Mary Delany, including some background and context. I will demonstrate how the mosaiks (collages) are made, before providing everyone the necessary matierals and tools for your own work.

The aim is to create a botanical painting using a collage technique, which up to that point had not been used as a method of illustration.

The workshop is suitable for all ages (for young people age 10 and above). Younger children would need to book with an adult.

• Workshops will last 1.5 hours, from 1-2.30pm
• £15 adult or £10 for children
