Help us to deliver a vibrant and diverse programme
By supporting us financially your contribution will help us to continue to deliver a vibrant and diverse programme and make a difference in our community and help to achieve our charitable aims ‘to provide, promote and advance the Arts for the benefit of the public, in particular people who live, work and are educated in Sydenham and surrounding areas’.
Now in our 12th year and after 10 years of innovative summer festivals Sydenham Arts we have moved to year-round programming, giving greater opportunity for consistency and quality with optimum use of the Sydenham Centre.
We hold monthly film nights, Chamber concerts with local musicians enSEmble26, and continue our multi-arts offer (photography, music, dance, physical theatre, poetry and spoken word), whilst working with the best of local and emerging talent.
This Spring we launch our Moving with Parkinson’s programme delivered specifically for people living with Parkinson’s Disease here in Sydenham. Taking inspiration from music, poetry, life experience and your imagination with Harriet Green creating a safe place to dance, exercise, play and connect.
The summer will still feature the Artists Trail showcasing the talents of some 100 artists in over 20 locations. We have outreach projects in local schools, FREE events for our 60’s and workshops in primary and secondary schools. All this with a programme of FREE events for our plus 60’s generation and workshops in St Bartholomew’s Primary School and Sydenham Girls School.
