Overview
Whether through Spectrum’s urban poetry or Lawn Dogs’ sun-soaked suburban defiance, these stories remind us that difference can be a kind of superpower — and that the most unlikely characters can leave the deepest mark.
Spectrum, a black-and-white urban fable directed by Rick Stanton and starring his autistic brother Steve alongside BAFTA-winner Wunmi Mosaku, follows a neurodivergent (super)hero navigating everyday life in his own quietly extraordinary way.
Lawn Dogs features a young Sam Rockwell and Mischa Barton in a vibrant suburban tale of an unexpected friendship between a spirited girl and a misunderstood outsider.
Both films beautifully capture what it means to see the world differently — and feature unforgettable, exhilarating finales you won’t want to miss.
Join us for an evening of distinctive storytelling and celebrate voices from the edges that resonate at the heart of human experience.
