Overview

Poets Esme Allman and Ade Oyejobi have been speaking to shop owners and businesses that make up Sydenham's unique and diverse high street, gathering stories, anecdotes and memories which will be weaved in to a rich, textual tapestry celebrating the rich culture of the people and places that make Sydenham so special.

An evening of spoken word and poetry will include a unique performance of this Epic original piece, plus a special set from a local poet, and open mic segments.

It promises to be a chilled and energising evening with positive vibes, all in the serene surroundings of The Canvas café.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can, from £0 -£10 so that everyone can be a part of this celebration.
