Overview
Time 11-12 noon
Cost: £3 per person (or free with any purchase from Artscapades)
I will demonstrate how to use a gelatine plate and rollers to create a leaf print and then you will make your own print from your leaves to take home. Please note I will work with one person at a time, so there is a chance to watch and observe as each person creates.
Once the prints are dry (5-10 mins wait), you are welcome to use coloured pencils to create a third layer of colour.
All equipment is provided (paper, acrylic paints, coloured pencils, paint roller, gel plate). The only thing you will be required to bring is a suitable leaf/leaves for your composition. Textured leaves work best OR unusual shaped leaves (or both!). Example leaves: Fern, Oak, Japonica, Umbrella.
I will have a small selection of leaves as a backup in case the leaves you have chosen are not suitable. There is room for a maximum of 8 people.
Please do book in advance to avoid disappointment.
