My work spans from a background in Contemporary European Performance, expanding through sculpture and conceptual imagery, using mixed media and form.
Often referencing geometric and aleatoric processes, it is of central importance to me that the pieces I create can be interpreted by the observers in their own way, offering questions, sentiments, but never answers.
I am increasingly drawn to process art- in essence a preoccupation with the method and visibility of a work’s component parts and production techniques. To me, this increases the viscerality of the final piece. I’m not even concerned with finishing a ‘piece’ in its entirety.
Presently, my art processes are exploring the obsession of permanence, and I’m developing my practice through experimenting with powder, temporary form and sculpture.
