#Sixty: Singing Workshop

17/07/19 2pm (Doors 1.45pm) 44A Sydenham Road

#Sixty is a our bi-monthly programme of FREE events for our Plus 60’s.  Supported by Sydenham Assembly funds.  The events run from March and take place May, July, September and November 2019.

Next up is our Singing Workshop with singer, composer, conductor and writer, Katie Rose.

Described by The Guardian as a ‘fine singer’ and by Roots Magazine as an ‘eye (and ear) opener’, Katie loves singing and helping people sing.  Committed to making the power of singing accessible and inclusive, Katie leads choirs in community settings across London including hospital groups with respiratory and cardiac patients.  Passionate about the power of singing to make waves in the world, she has directed and mass choral events including Festival of Peace Croydon in partnership with London Mozart Players and Sing for Water fundraising for WaterAid.  She composes, performs and conducts her own original material and has released three albums.
